Gerhard Giese started at Akamai in 2010 and is managing the European team of security architects. The team is responsible for customer advisory and consulting services in pre- as well as post sales. With over 20 years of experience in the field of security, he has accumulated in-depth expertise in network-security as well as in DDoS mitigation and data-theft prevention.
While being in a management role Gerhard Giese never stopped operating directly and assisting clients showing his expertise as a trusted advisor. In addition he regularly talks at conferences and panels and also works as an independent consultant for federal state authorities.
Slawomir, CISSP, is a telecommunications engineer focused on network security. Currently he is working at ENISA (European Network and Information Security Agency) as an expert in security tools and architecture. He is a co-author of ENISA reports covering areas of data protection, electronic identities and information security. He is also responsible for following up and supporting European security related R&D projects and technical developments in standardization. In the past he was involved among others in technology risk management, incident handling policies and systems of early recognition of network attacks.
Umut is an Information Security team leader with a strong technical background and business-minded, ‘can-do’ attitude derived from years of experience in Financial Services and Retail industries. He has been working for various positions within information security organisations at different countries. He is also a topic leader for Information Security track at Solvay Brussels School.
Christof Jacques is a Security Engineer for Check Point Software Technologies with over ten years of experience in the IT Security field. Christof loves to discuss security topics with customers, big or small. When he’s offline Christof is either enjoying some time with his family or pretending to be a level 18 wizard.
Agnieszka Kosna is cybersecurity professional with experience across various security domains in the telecommunications sector, including governance, risk management and incident handling. She is a board member of ISACA Belgium Chapter.
